![]() However, the game is rigged and yet, you will have to knock your opponent off from the track. As for the game, it’s set in a reality television show where players are racing for the top spot. ![]() Without a doubt, Split/Second is currently one of the best split-screen racing games available on PC. ![]() It’s an equally intense racing game and supports split-screen of up to two players. Since Blur is no longer in development, you can play Split/Second instead. This is one of my favourite local multiplayer games thanks to the easy to understand but difficult to master experience it offers. There are monsters aplenty, and a lot of dangers for you to be wary of, and overcome. All in an attempt to survive one more night. You’ll work together with your friends in a co-operative game, exploring a vast island, gathering resources and food, and building shelter for yourself. Don’t Starve Together is basically the multiplayer version of the acclaimed game ‘Don’t Starve’.Īs the title suggests, your single purpose in the game is to not starve to death. If you’re on the lookout for the best couch co-op games to play, this is one game you shouldn’t miss out on. All in all, Screencheat is a frantic and action-packed game and you can enjoy this awesome game in split-screen mode with your friends and family.ĭownload ( 14.99) 4. Also, keep in mind, this game supports multiple gaming controllers as well so that is great. That’s fun, right?Īlso, there are a couple of weapons in the game, but look for ‘one-hit-kill’ armor and teddy-bear loaded with explosives for killing your opponents in no time. Basically, everyone will be invisible from each other’s screen so you will have to look at your opponent’s screen - hence screen cheating - and then shoot them. At the outset, Screencheat is a first-person shooter game but the gameplay is slightly different and that is what makes it the most enjoyable game. I’m interested in hearing what first-timers think of Zack come December 13, but there’s not much to see for the rest of us.Screencheat does not need much introduction, but if you are unaware it’s one of the most popular split-screen games of all time. The good stuff i.e. the story is (probably) still good, and the less great stuff is…you get the idea. Rather, I’m relieved to have exorcised any sense of obligation to revisit this beloved prequel because I’m really not missing anything. I’m not at all disappointed by this revelation, if you can even call it that. And I don’t think Reunion needs to be anything more than what it’s always been marketed as. If you’re like me and you only “like” Crisis Core, but you don’t “like like” it, Reunion likely won’t raise your opinion of the experience, especially if you were already lukewarm on the action. By the time I wrapped up the demo, though, I could only see Reunion appealing to FFVII Remake fans itching to absorb more of this universe or Zack’s most rabid followers. ![]() Don’t get me wrong it’s great to play a version of Crisis Core with traditional camera controls while using a regular controller. The basic hack n slash combat can be fun in a mindless sense, but it was mostly a tolerable exercise of mashing the square button until the next cool plot point. It felt repetitive and kind of weird, thanks to the slot machine-style limit breaks. The gameplay? I found it serviceable at best in 2008. And that’s an element I can relieve through the magic of YouTube. I enjoyed Crisis Core, but most of that affection stemmed from its narrative. However, I think a part of me still wanted to find some excuse or new hook to replay the adventure.
